Liberals In Rage Mode Over Shuler’s Vote Against Gov’t Run Healthcare
If you go over to Shuler’s facebook page, and look at His wall (place where people can leave comments) it looks like He will be voted out in the primary. One right after another, His “fans” are letting Him have it, using words like betrayed, never again, true colors, dino (opposite of Rino), lost my vote…they have even set up a new page from which they hope to work together and find a ‘real’ candidate to replace Him.
So I became a fan of Shuler’s to 1. thank Him for making the tough vote 2. share the Post with His conservative supporters, 3. to talk to these liberals. I tried to explain that a Liberal Democrat would not get 35% of the vote if they ran on the Pelosi line that many of these people see as the model for a person they’d want to support, but they do not care. They are willing to give the GOP back the 11th district seat in order to make a point.
So I threw down the gauntlet, and I got one responder out of Shuler’s 1,768 fans, a NY Liberal who claims to be living in Asheville. Below is what followed…
